OFTEC Awards for Excellence 2008

OFTEC Awards for Excellence trophies Promoting Excellence in Oil Heating & Cooking is what OFTEC is all about, however, without the OFTEC Registered Technicians, Companies, Oil Distributors and Training Centres this would not be possible and that is why for the sixth year running OFTEC is holding the annual Awards for Excellence which gives the opportunity to recognise and reward their skill, hard work and dedication to the Oil Industry.

There are five regional awards – North, South, East, West and Ireland – in each category, plus a prize of £500 for the overall national winner.

The categories are:

Oil Boiler Installer of the Year, Oil Cooker & Stove Installer of the Year, and Oil Tank Installer of the Year

OFTEC Registered Technicians can apply using the Installer's Award entry form (right)

Oil Distribution Depot of the Year

Distributors can nominate up to five depots – one in each region using the entry form (right)

Service & Commissioning Technician of the Year

(Nominated by Regional Inspectors)

Trainee of the Year

Trainees can apply by using the nomination form (right)

Training Centre of the Year

OFTEC Training Centres can apply by using the nomination form (right)

Three NEW Awards

OFTEC are pleased to announce three new awards for 2008 for OFTEC Member Companies in which OFTEC Registered Technicians can vote:

Manufacturing Member of the Year
Marketing Campaign of the Year
Best Green Initiative/Product

 

Member of the Year

Open to all manufacturers in the oil industry who are OFTEC Members. Nominations will be welcome from OFTEC Registered Technicians by downloading and completing a simple tick box form(right).

Marketing Campaign of the Year

Open to all manufacturers/distributors in the oil industry who are OFTEC Members. Nominations will be welcome from OFTEC Registered Technicians by downloading and completing a simple tick box form (right).

Green Initiative/Product

Open to all OFTEC Manufacturing Members. Nominations are welcome from any OFTEC Member company who have launched a “Green” initiative/product in 2007. Download the entry form (right).

All winners will be invited with their partners to receive their award at a black tie dinner and stay overnight at the prestigious Russell Hotel on 3rd October 2008.
