Technical Book Updates
OFTEC technical book updates
A requirement of OFTEC registration is that registered technicians must either have copies of the OFTEC technical books relevant to their qualifications, or an equivalent technical reference book.
The downloadable updates here amend the latest edition of the OFTEC technical books (referenced below). If you do not have it, you will first need to obtain the latest published edition from OFTEC Direct. When you receive your book, you may find that some of the updates have already been inserted.
You can receive an email notification when a new technical book update becomes available. If you do not already receive these notifications and would like to, contact OFTEC’s technical department by email or phone on 0845 65 85 080.
To keep your OFTEC technical books up to date, please:
1. Ensure you have the latest published edition referenced below (available from OFTEC Direct)
2. Compare the amendment table in the front of your book against the list of updates
3. For any applicable updates that are missing, download and print the PDF file(s)
4. Insert them into your technical book folder
5. Update the amendment table in the front of your book
